GROCERIES FOR YOUTH over the Sponsors Youth Program Eagle members are busy selling tickets for a $200 Food Basket to be given away March 16. Ticket donations are five for $1 or 25 cents each. Tickets are available at Bubs Confectionary and Reid Brackens Service Station. Tickets will also be sold at the Cake Sale Booth at Safeway Store, Saturday, March 9 at 12:30 pm. under the supervision of Mesdames D. Penrod, Smith and L. Henwood. Proceeds from the Food Basket ticket sales and the Cake Sale will be used to purchase uniforms for the Junior Girls Drill Team. The present attendance has reached 255 teenagers. Our main objective in teen dances is to provide supervised fun for our teenagers. Admission is 25 cents each, hamburgers and hot dogs for 10 cents and pop is 5 cents. During the evening there are contest dances. Gift certificates for records are given as prizes. At each dance some lucky boy and some lucky girl wins record albums as a door prize.
