Lieutenant Doff and his partner, Jack Minnoch, of Salt Lake City, teamed up to capture first place in the Buddy Team evgnt from a field of 15 teams. The two men jumped fron a Cessna 170 aircraft at an altitude of 5,500 feet, performed several aerial maneuvers to bring them over a fifteen foot target cross and deploy their parachutes at 2,500 feet to land on safely, target. Both men scored within three yards of the target for a team total of only four and one-hayards. The two men also took honors , for individual accuracy. , Lieutenant Doff, has over, 20 skydiving parachute jumps to his credit. He is assigned to the special staff at Dugway. Mr. Wise pointed out that taxpayers with more than one source of income may receive a Form 3435 from each investment source. He further urged taxpayers receiving Forms 3435 to read the instructions carefully and to respond promptly to each payers request. He reports that this mission was one of the first to use the new "Share the Gospel program and that through it a great many conversions are being made. He reports that the first year of his mission 25 baptisms per month were being made and at the present time the figure has risen to 170 baptisms for the mission each month. Elder Lawrence Quoin clti-cha- nge 1 LDS Mission With the occupancy Monday of the Harris Elementary School new ten room addition, class schedules were placed on regular full day sessions, Supt, Sterling R. Harris reports. The approximately 550 pupils who have been on split shift since school term opened in August, are now on a full day schoo! schedule. The split shift sessions ran from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon for the first group and 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the second group. Tooele has had the unusual experience of seeing school children running around the community during school hours for the past several weeks, or since fall term of school opened.
