Show The Tooele Transcript 28, 1962 1963 Special Stocker, Bonneville Friday, September FRIGIDAIRE BUDGET BUY WITH AUTOMATIC DRY CONTROL! rvrr hardtops completely and three new station wagons feature Ford's line of Fairlane cars 4 The second Special Stocker and Feeder Cattle Show and Sale of the 1962 season, sponsored by the Associated Livestock of Marketing Agencies Ogden, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Ogden Stockyards beginning at 10 a.m. The sale is expected to be the largest special Stocker and feeder sale held at the Ogden yards since the inception of these special sales in the fall of last year. A good volume of cattle is expected from Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada as well as from Utah, and buyers from the Corn Belt to California are expected to come to Ogden for this sale. There is no charge for entering cattle in the Show, and those entered in the Show will be judged on Wednesday, Oct 3. The Grand Champion load will receive a lovely silver tea service. Ribbons will be awarded to other winners. The Show has been an added attraction in these special sales, and some lively competition is promised for this Oct. 4 Show. There will be two more special stocker and feeder shows one and sales held this year on Oct. 25 and the other on Nov. 15. Mr and Mrs Eugene Kroff have returned from a week's motor trip through Washington and Oregon Stopping first in Spokane, they visited Mr Kroff's aunt and uncle. Mr and Mrs. W C Sadd, and family. They then drove via Moses Lake to Seattle, where they were guests of another aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs Frank Kroff, and saw the Seattle Worlds Fair. They returned through Oregon, arriving in Tooele last Sunday. Mrs Kroff reports that the autumn scenery was beautiful all the way. Mr and Mrs George S (Pat) Rvan and daughters, Patrece, Laurie, and Kay, left Tuesday for Tucson, Arizona, where they wiP make their home MR. AND MRS. W. C. TATE have returned from a trip to th Northvvrs and Cannda Mr Golden W. (Bill) Dixon returned Tuesday from the LDS Hoso-tawhere he has been confined for observation and treatment He will return in two weeks for surgery. Vacation ended this week for Mr and Mrs William Petty when they returned from an extensive trip to visit three of their children They went first to Donners Grove, Illinois, where they were guests of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Petty, Jr, and children While there, Mr Petty and his son, went fishing at Fairmount, where the family had once lived Their next stop was with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sim and children, of Barrington, Illinois. They then continued to Lockport, Illinois, where they visited with relatives. Heading west once more, they went on to Greeley, Colorado, where they were met by another daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Van Dyke, of Evergreen, Colorado. Mrs Van Dyke returned to Tooele with her parents and remained a few days, returning to her home last Wednesday night. A DAUGHTER WAS BORN WEDNESDAY, Sept. 26 to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Dixon, of Granger. The little girl, who weighed eight pounds four ounces, arrived at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City Her mother is the former Gay Stevens, of Tooele. Her four big brothers, Kevin, Kelly, and Jimmy, are staying in Lakeview with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden W. Dixon, who are especially pleased because this is their eighth grand child and first grand daughter. The babys maternal grandmother is Mrs. A. B. Walters of Magna.
