At Vernon School CroumU Thursday had a freak accident, Thursday morning, when Joy age 8, had her right leg broken above the ankle when she was hit and run over by a bicycle on the Vernon school grounds The mishap took place within five minutes of 9 a m as the children were pieparing to enter the building for the stait of the days school woik. 4 Af'er she was knocked to the ground, the wheel of the bike passed over her leg causing the fracture Joy, who is the daughter of Mr V. 4. and Mrs Jay G Fitzwater. of was brought to Tooele Charming Miss Cindy Keene, Vernon, celebrated her second birthday on for medical care September 6, and was so delighted with her Hawaiian costume the photographer had a bad time getting her to stand still long enough for her picture.
