I should be doing these kinds of things year round and not just during the holidays, but with me being a procrastinator, well, you get the picture. I have made a list of what I am grateful for. It goes something like this: 1. First and foremost I am grateful for my husband. Without him my life would be empty. He is my best friend. I dont know how he puts up with my antics and my pessimistic attitude (he doesn't know either), but he always stays by my side, through the good and the bad, and even though I am getting older, and more stuck in my ways, he who still thinks of me as that cute little nineteen-year-olwanted a motorcycle ride, even though his motorcycle was broken at the time, and was happy when I came back for a rain check ride. Honey, I love you and I'm grateful for everything you do for me and our family. 2. Next, I am grateful for my kids. Austin is my computer geek, and even though we dont see eye to eye all the time. I'm grateful that he is my firstborn. Hes always trying to be helpful and honest. He keeps us laughing and is such a curious kid. Emily is my Princess, my diva, and my drama queen. She loves dancing and music, especially singing, and keeps our house full of her lively melodies, however strange they may he. She can be nurturing and helpful. Even though we butt heads frequently, she is still my little girl and I love her lots. Ryan is my little stink bug, for lack of a better term. He and my accident-pron- e is my escape artist, my mischief-makekid, but he keeps me hopping which in turn keeps me young. He loves to play games and sports and is full of life. He loves his family very much and is such an asset to our family. Love ya! 3. I am grateful for everything my parents have ever done for me and my family. They taught me a lot about life and have helped me become who I am today. They are so very special to me and I love them very much. 4. My brothers and sisters, and Heaths family: I am grateful to have you in my life. I have been given the love of my siblings, and I want them to know that they mean a lot to me. Heaths family have been so gracious to me and I thank them for letting me be a part of their family. I love being a part of it, and am grateful for each of them. I could go on and on about being grateful for things like trees, or my house, or the Utah Utes beating the Cougars, or trivial things like that, but I wont. Most of us are grateful for those things. Okay, not so much the Utes but I had to sneak that in there. On a serious note, though, I have to be grateful for the one who made all these things possible in my life, and I think we. all know who He is: the big man upstairs, the Creator of all things, it was He who gave me these blessings and for that I am deeply grateful. Remember all your blessings this Thanksgiving and don't be afraid to tell the ones you love how much they mean to you, and how grateful you are to have them in your lives. Happy Thanksgiving! d r, P.S. have to say that I was extremely happy about the outSaturdays game between the Utes and Cougars. I jumped up and down and whooped and hollered, and I at the end. Wow, what a might have even got teary-eyegame! I dont care if you are a Cougar fan, you lave to give the Utes credit. They played an outstanding game and deserve all the praise for having an undefeated season. I am looking forward to them playing in a BCS bowl game and I hope they do the state of Utah proud. Proud to be a Utah Ute fan! GO UTES!! I come of d die-har- 75 percent for women who smoke two packs or more per day, she said. The good news is that if you quit now your potential risk of dying as a result of future breast cancer remains the same as for a nonsmoker. Another type of cancer which may occur more frequently in smokers is vulvar cancer. Smokers experience a forty percent higher risk of developing this, devastating, type of gynecological cancer. From page November is the traditional month for giving thanks. The faculty and staff at Nephi Elementary are grateful for many things, but they are particularly grateful for the respectful, responsible students they work with every day at school. This is something we also did when the pipeline was being constructed, said Greg Rowley, council member. The state does limit the time a temporary ordinance can be in place, said McKnight.
