Show Page i November 26, 2003 5 (DC (Ttmcs-- Services for Elaine Bowles to be held November 26th in Nephi Ruth Elaine Jensen Bowles passed away Nov. 22, 2003 in Provo, Utah. She was born Feb. 20, 1923 in Fairview, Utah, to Levern and Orabelle Hansen Jensen. She Married Jesse Earl Bowles, Aug. 14, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in many positions in the Republican Party. She was an active member of the General Federation of Womens Clubs of Utah, serving in state and local club offices. Elaine is survived by her son, Layne Bowles; 3 granddaughters; sister, Betty McKay Hopkin; brother, Max L. Jensen. She wras preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Charles Jensen and Jack Jensen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (today), Nov. 26, 2003 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call at buses or cruise ships.
