There are three op- tions for renewing a pesticide license. The options are: (1) complete and pass the general pesticide exam and at least one category exam, (2) attend a workshop and pass at least one category, or (3) attend pesticide training programs recognized by UDAF and A obtain credit for the required number of CEUs. If CEUs are used to renew a license during 2003, all training forms and payment must be submitted to UDAF before the end of 2003. The requirements for CEUs are as follows: pesticide applicators with a commercial or non commercial license must earn at least 24 CEUs during the three years their license is valid. This includes 4 hours in laws, 10 hours in safety, and 10 hours in use management. Individuals with a private license must earn at least 9 CEUs during the three years their license is valid. This includes 2 hours in laws, 3 hours in safety, and Stop by our three limes the Seal Estate Service . Equals Success workshops are encouraged to pick up the instructional manuals and study the information prior to the training date. The instructional programs and examinations include pesticide calibration activities. Please arrive at the workshops on time. Participants who will renew licenses are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to pay fees. The fee is $20 commercial and per person applicators must pay an additional licensing fee of $15 for one year or $45 for three years. We encourage Commercial Applicators to obtain a three (3) year license as a cost savings to you and to the Department. Checks are the preferred method of payment, although cash will he accepted.
