She was born February 24, 1925, in San Acacio Costillo, Colorado, to John and Mary Ella Huffaker. She married Lyman Viggo Hamson, July 26, 1945, in the Logan LDS Temple. They adopted a daughter, Kathy Rae, in March of 1951. Lyman passed away.
