Aimee Bailey and Jason Porkomy will marry on Saturday in Manti LDS Temple Cody Kouns and Steve Gray mil marry on Friday Aimee Bailey will marry Jason Porkorny on Saturday, September 6, 1997, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Nephi LDS 5th Ward, 345 East 500 North. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Aimee is the daughter of Dean and Ann Bailey of Nephi. She' Cody Kouns and Steve Gray will marry on Friday, September 5, 1997. A reception will be held that evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Conrad Reception Center, Provo Canyon. Cody is the daughter of Jeff and Becky Kouns of Mona. She attended Juab High School and was employed at Dennys Restaurant in Nephi. Steve is the son of Jerry and Marcia Gray of Pleasant Grove. He is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. He is currently employed at Big O Tire in Steve Gray and Cody Kouns Twins bom to Nephi couple Twins (daughter and son) bom August 12, 1997, to Marlow and Darla Yates of Nephi. Ray Stephenson celebrated his 80th birthday on August 29th. A family dinner was held in his honor on Saturday, August 30th. He was born August 29, 1917, in Nephi to Thomas William Stephenson and Sarah Elizabeth Ivie. He married Denee Park on May 14, 1945, in Nephi. He worked at N.R.P. for 35 years. He has four children, Gary of Mt. Pleasant, Beth (Ron) Taylor of Nephi, Kathy (Howard) of Washington, and Mario (Heidy) of Nephi. Add sourdough start, 4 cups flour and 2 teaspoons sugar. Blend well. Cover and place in a warm place (until double in volume, about 2 hours). Mix soda, salt and 1 cup flour. Stir well and add to other mixture. Turn out on a floured board and knead until smooth. Divide dough into two portions. Roll each portion into a square. Brush each square with 3 T. of the melted butter. Combine sugar, orange peel, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over dough. Roll up, jelly roll style; seal seam. Slice each roll into 12 pieces, place down, in a well greased Dutch oven. Brush with remaining melted butter. Let rise until double in bulk. Bake from top and bottom with medium hot coals for approximately 5 minutes. Remove Dutch oven from coals and continue cooking with coals on top only for an additional 0 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately turn out onto Dutch oven lid; drizzle with powdered sugar icing Makes 24 rolls.
