The Coun-- r cil will be taking public input and formulating recommenda-- " tions on Division of Wildlife Re 4 sources proposed management plans for furbearer, cougar and waterfowl. The purpose of the advisory council is to allow the public more input into wildlife management practices and concerns in Utah. The council considers professional biological recommenda tions and public concern for wildlife issues and provide recommendations to the States regulatory body the Wildlife Board. Anyone interested in wildlife issues is encouraged to attend and participate in advisory council meetings. Meetings will be announced as there scheduled. DWR schedules dedicated Hunter class for August 15th in Orem The Division of Wildlife Resources has scheduled a "Dedicated Hunter class before the archery deer hunt begins. The class will be held at Jakes High Country Archery in Orem located at 765 South Orem Blvd. from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Hies-daAugust 15th. The dedicated hunter program allows hunters to hunt all three deer hunts each year for three . habitat and range programs. This is a trial program and its success will be evaluated after it has been in place for three years. The fee required for the course is $125.00 for adults and $50.00 for youth under 18. The fee includes the permit for the subsequent years, pays for course costs, program administration and game management.
