He was a member of the Junior Utah team which was' comprised of 5 members ages 12-1- 4. He competed in archery, shot gun, 22 rifle, and black powder. He also took tests in orienteering, wild life identification, hunter responsibility, and safety trail. The 5 member team earned the right to compete in the Na i tionals in New Mexico, but due to the mystery virus that broke out in the 4 corners area, the National Shoot was canceled. Teams from around the Nation participated in the Postal Shoot, held in August, Lee Kay Center in Salt Lake City. The Utah Junior and Senior teams completed the Postal Shoot, then were sent to NRA Headquarters. In the shoot, Heath had thq top score on the Utah Junio at the team. |
