Show r Alma Haycock set for 80th birthday open house G. Alma Haycock of Nephi will celebrate his 80th birthday Saturday, May 18. An open house given, by his family will honor Haycock from 2 to 4 p.m. The public is invited r v' V ' s to attend, but should bring no j i gifts. Haycock was bom May 17, 1911 in Nephi to George A. and Leona Brown Haycock. He at tended Nephi schools and has lived on a farm west of town all his life. He married Doris Jensen of Moroni July 30, 1937. The marriage later was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died May 2, 1972. He was employed by Nephi Rubber Products for 30 years, and retired in 1976. He is a member of the Nephi 6th LDS Wards high-priegroup and has held many church positions. He has four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Myraa) Houghton and Mrs. Neil (Dianna) Kendall, both of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Parkin and Mrs. Lloyd (Carole) Brough, mf h , K Ir.A IP' ;i'Vv'Vy,AI .rv V fyv . A brother, Reese Haycock, is deceased. great-grandchildre- n; Stringhams plan 68th wedding anniversary Family honors Faye Malmgren Allred I 75 Bryant and Miranda String-hawill celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary June 6, and Mr. Stringham will observe his 90th birthday May 19. Mr. and Mrs. Stringham have., been residents of Nephi for the past six years. They once lived farm north of Firth, on a e moved to Nephi to be but Idaho, nearer their sons. m 93-acr- Mrs. Stringham was bom in Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1904. She finished high school and attended college. Mr. Stringham was bom in 1901 in Holden. His family moved to Glencare, Idaho in 1917. They were married June 6, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They served two LDS missions together and each one served a mission separately. Both have served in many church positions. Stringham was a branch president in the Texas Mission and also served in a bishopric. Mrs. Stringham also served as chairman of the Bingham County Farm Bureau. Mr. and Mrs. Stringham have two sons, Bryce Stringham of Faye Pierce Malmgren Allred Ogden and Forrest Stringham her 75 th birthday ancelebrated of Mona. A daughter is at niversary a family dinner held May 11 at the home of her daugher, Donna Jones. Mrs. Allred as bom May 23, 1916 in Fayette to Harvey and Recent births, as reported to Mary Pierce.
