Minor league, third week: UFP 24, Mona 11; Sluggers 24, s Lions 10; Nephi Milling 16, 9; Kiwanis 15, Utah Foam Products, 14; Pextons 23, Mona 7; Slugger 16, Nephi Milling 14; and Lions 30, Kiwanis 22. Players of the week: Jimmy McKnight, Kiwanis; Jonathon Truscott, Lions; Morgan Rice, Pex-ton- Wasnt that a strange morning last Friday? Thursday was pretty, and then to wake up to Snow on the first ofJune. It was a real surprise! Friday night was great though, Mariann and I got to play proud parents along with the parents of the other 75 graduates of Juab High class of 1990. Graduation went along without a hitch until a balky slide projector caused some anxious moments but the projector got fixed, graduation was finished, and all was well. A big Way-to-g-o to all the adult graduates who graduated Friday. I think the proudest one was Lynn Parkin who received his certificate. I dont know Lynns exact age but a few drops of water have o Lynn, we are gone down Salt Creek since he was 18. of proud you.
