A public hearing was citizen members, one each from people working and economic development 1988 of to representing Mona, Levan, held in the early part often want to receive public comment on economic development in the county. Several citizens were in attendance at the hearing, and the plan was further refined. Since this meeting, the plan has been adopted by the county and was made a part of Juab Countys enterprise zone ap- plication. The application was accepted by the state, and Juab County wa. among the first five counties in the state to be designated as enterprise zones. The plan calls for more citizen involvement in many areas and assigns different areas of responsibility. One of the recommendations of the plan is that five additional Eureka, Nephi, and Juab County, be appointed to the board as members. To date Craig Sperry of Mona and Frank Booth of Nephi have been appointed to serve in this capacity.
