The report says that those with professional degrees have the highest average monthly in- come of all degree holders at $3,871. The monthly average for holders of other degrees is reported at $3,265 for Ph.D.s, $2,288 for masters degrees, $1,841 for bachelors degrees, and $1,346 for associate degrees. FARM RECORD KEEPING Dr. Darwin Nielsen of the Agricultural Economics Department at USU was in Nephi Dec. 21 to present a workshop on farm record keeping. Six local farmers participated in the workshop. The farmers learned how to prepare balance sheets and income statements. They also learned what records are necessary to prepare those documents. I would like to have seen more participation in the workshop because I feel record keeping is one of the very important things that a farm operator must do if he is to be successful under current economic conditions.
