In this article we share why we are sure that the Bible is inspired, inerrant Word of Cod. First, the Bible is the only book above all the religious books in the world ". II Timothy 3:16 says, "All that declares itself to be inspired or scripture is given by inspiration of Cod..." Second, though it was written, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, over a period of 1600 years by 40 different authors, there is complete agreement in all 66 books of the Bible, especially on the central theme of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. Third, the prophecies of the Bible give evidence that it is God's Word, not man's. For example of the 300 prophecies relating to the birth of Christ, most of which were written 700 to 1000 years before He came into the world, all were fulfilled exactly as Cod said. Fourth, while the Bible is not a science textbook, it is scientifically accurate. While people were still believing that the world was flat, the Bible has all along said the earth was round (Isaiah 40:22). And scientists today honestly admit what the Bible has said for 2000 years, that there are more stars in space than man can count (Jeremiah 33:22). For these reasons and more we believe that every part of the Bible and every word of the Bible is from Cod. That's why we are a Bible church. Visit us Sunday mornings at 11:15 at our church located at 860 North 200 East and hear teaching from Cod's Word, the Bible.
