The affair was under the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club of Nephi. The annual event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club as an aid in registering all Scouts of the area. Preceeding the entertainment a Court of Honor was held, conducted by Udell R. Jensen, Chairman of the Boy Scouts Advancement committee. Vice Chairman Fred L. Gadd presented life badges to Kirk Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Morgan; and to David Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Christensen. A merit badge was presented by E. C. Sherwood to Trist Roberts, for swimming a mile. Trist is son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Dwain Loertscher, Roberts. Scout master of Troop 132, presented eight boys with their week for a stakewide parents and sons Boy Scout Week banquet to be held at 6:15 pm on Saturday, February 8, at the Juab Stake House.
