Uinta National Forest will take group reservations The Uintah National Forests Spanish Fork Ranger District will begin taking reservations for group campground units Jan. 3. The office will take reservations for the Bear Canyon, Balsam, Cherry, Kolob, Blackhawk, Pal- myra, Tinney Flat, Trumbolt, and Whiting campgrounds. Fees will remain the same as last year $25 per 50 people. The reservation period is from 2 p.m. on the reserved day to 1 p.m. the following day. Sites will not be reserved for fewer than the site capacity. Reservations will be taken on Jan. 3 beginning at 8:15 a.m., at the Spanish Fork Office, 44 West Fourth North, Spanish Fork. Reservations can only be made in person and must be paid for on the day reserva- tions are made. No telephone reservations will be accepted. After Jan. 3, reservations will be taken by telephone from those who live outside Utah, Juab, and Salt Lake counties. Within these counties, reservations must be made in person and paid for at the same time. Reservations may be cancelled up to five days prior to the date of schedule use with a $5 charge. After that time, no refund will be made. He was born July 15, 1931 in Mona to Leonard T. and Ruth Kay Garfield. He married Dorene Bowles, and they were later divorced. He married Mildred Ann Harris. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors are his wife, of the Philippines; a son, Robert Garfield, Kearns; a daughter, Tracy Len Garfield, the Philippines; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greenhalgh of Mona; a brother, Tom Garfield of Mona; and two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Pat) Sutherland of Mona, and Mrs. Jared Ingram Chris White Ingram, White receive Cub Scouting awards Two Nephi Cub Scouts received their Arrow of Light and Faith in God awards at the pack meeting of the Nephi Fifth Wards Cub Scouting program Thursday.
