The overheated brakes apparently caused a tire to catch fire, and the fire heated the tire to the point of explosion. The broke several large panes of glass at the store, and sent members of the business community into the streets to see what had happened. ' Friends may call at the chapel prior to the services. Interment will be at the Nephi City Cemetery. Wilkey was born Feb. 21, 1883 in Nephi to Samuel G. and Susanna Cooper Wilkey, and was a member of the LDS Church.
