Seventy were in attendance. James Stephens, manager of H. K. Porter Co., Thermoid Division, Nephi Works was chairman of the event. The group enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner and, the entertainment as provided by a group of Indian Dancers from Goshen. Richard Steele Ends Special Course FORT EUST1S, VA. (AHT-NC- ) Specialist Five Richard G. Steele, whose wife, Laura, lives at 92 North 400 West, Payson, Utah, completed a aircraft electrician repair course at the Army Transportation School, Fort Eustis, Va., recently. During the course. Specialist Steele received Instruction in the methods of electrical repair and the uses of electrical tools. Steele entered the Army in July 1963 and completed basic combat training at Fort Ord, California. A son of Dr. and Mrs. John G. Steele, Route 1, Mona, he is a graduate of Juab High School, Nephi, and attended Brigham Young University at Provo. Immunization Clinics Are Scheduled Dr. F. H. Becktsead, health officer for Juab County, and Mrs. Martha E. Burton, public health nurse, have announced that immunization clinics will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Juab High School on September 17, October 15 and Novemb- Protection on Monday evening. e Superintendent Ralph stated Wednesday that it appears that no problems exist, and that, school will open on schedule August 3l. Men-Iov- Theatre Sets Rey M. Decker, Juab High School teacher, and Barry H. Avery, a former teacher in the school, are among the 28 high school teachers who will receive masters degrees from the University of Utah on August 21 after completion of an Academic year institute program. The Academic Year Institute is a special program, financed by the National Science Foundation, for the purpose of providing additional training for high school and junior high school teachers of physical and biological sciences and mathematics. 19. Dr. Beckstead said A recent survey in Utah revealed that our children under five years of age and our adults over 20 are poorly, or not at all, protected against these diseases. Each individual should be protected against smallpox by the age of one year, and then revaccinated every four or five years thereafter. Tetanus immunization is effective, but it also needs to be repeated every four or five years. Completes Study in Engine Maintenance WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS Airman Third Class Michael J. Docherty has graduated from the technical training course for the U. E. Air Force aircraft mechanics at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Airman Docherty, now trained to maintain and service reciprocating engine aircraft and aircraft systems, is returning to his unit of the Arizona Air National Guard at Phoenix.
