Show JHS miew KZ Market Under New Management! Same Old Friendly Service These students from Juab High School took third place in the state 1A and 2A drama competition. JHS drama students cap- ture third place at state Students from Juab High School took third place in the state 1A and 2A drama competition, held Friday and Saturday at Brigham Young University. Winning the event were students from Union High School with 68 points. Second place honors were taken by ' students from Lehi High School with 64 points. JHS had 52 points. There were 24 schools participating in the competition. The third place award is the highest that a JHS drama department has ever received, says Murna C. Wadsworth, the students advisor. Receiving superior ratings were Julie Wright and Debbie Pris- brey in the mono-actin- g competition; Kelly Rae Warren, Lorrie Jean Kelsey, and Melanie Yates in the humorous Track team places meet first at track tfeam took first meet place in a four-teaheld last Wednesday. The final score was Juab, 68; Manti, 58; North Sanpete, 38; and Wasatch Academy, 19. Placing for Juab were Scott Woodard, fourth in the shot; Todd Robinson, fourth in the discus and first in the pole vault; Bryan Griffiths, third in the javelin; Richard Win-sothird in the run; and Blair Kay, e fourth in the run. Placing in the pole vault were Kerry Lynn, second; Kevin Ockey, third; and David Garrett, fourth. Jimmy Howarth and Vance Gadd tied for second place in the dash.
