Gedge in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 22, 1932. She died July 9, 1938. He married Verda E. Russell in the Manti LDS Temple June 5, 1941. He was a Seventy in the LDS Church. He served in France and Germany during World War I. He also served as an LDS missionary in the East Central States mission. He was a farmer and stockman. Survivors are his wife, Verda, Mona; three sons, Harrison Dean Oliver, Salt Lake City, Gedge William Oliver, Mona, and Erwin Oliver, Blanding; three daughters, Sarah Jane Oliver, Bountiful Mrs. Lowell (Mary Carol) Jones, Mapleton, and Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) Dalby, Salt Charles Harrison Oliver Lake City; 21 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alvera Norman, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Alice Shum-waBlanding; and a niece, who was raised as his sister, Violet y, Stock, Tennessee.
