February 14, 1980 He took the garbage out! w-a-a-- Prisoner escapes from Juab County Jail Sunday night A California man, Robert Donald Seifert, 38, was returned to the Juab County Jail on Mon- day after spending approximately 12 hours out of the facility. Seifert is serving a sentence for an assault committed in Sanpete county. He is a trustee at the jail, and as such, does cooking, cleaning, and other chores. At about 1 1 p.m. on Sunday night, he took out the garbage and didnt come back. Jailer Gary Lofgran, who was on duty at the time, reported the escape to Sheriff Robert L. Painter, who called in sheriffs deputies and the sheriffs patrol to search for the man. Units of the Utah Highway Patrol and the Nephi City, police department also helped in the search, but the policemen could not find Seifert. Seifert had left the jail in the jails white clothing. In talking with other inmates at the facility, however, it was learned that Seifert had taken a change of clothes and other belongings with 60-da- J. R. He has been an Institutional Representative, a Scoutmaster, and a stake Scout leader. He is presently serving as chairman of the District Camping and Activities committee. Price was the first Scouter in the Juab District to receive the "Second Miler" award. He has also receivthe "Scoutmasters Key" ed award and three LDS Church leadership citations. Mrs. Pay was given the Second Miler award for her six years of service to the areas Blazer Scout. She has organized Blazer day camps and has devoted much time to the training of other leaders in the Blazer Scout program. Winsor was awarded the Second Miler award for his 15 years in the Scouting program. He presently serves as Scoutmaster of the Nephi Sixth LDS Ward. Prior to coming to Nephi, he was active in Scouting in the Delta area. He has been an Explorer advisor, a counselor in a Sunday School presidency, and a president of the Mutual Improvement Association. Arganbright replaces Dave Hunter, who has been transferred to the Mt. Pleasant office. The new loan officer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Arganbright, Jr. of Prescott, Arizona. He graduated from Orme Boarding School near Prescott and attended Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. While at Middlebury, he was a member of the Army ROTC. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English. He studied banking in First Securitys personnel training pro- gram. He is single. So far I am really impressed with Nephi. It has a very friendly atmosphere, says Arganbright. He also says that he likes the office and the people in it. Dustin Brett Stilson Funeral held Monday for Dustin Stilson Funeral services were held in Nephi on Monday, Feb. 11, 1980 at the Nephi Fifth LDS Ward for Dustin Brett Stilson, 4, who died at his home in Nephi on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1980 of a lingering illness. Burial was at the Nephi City Cemetery. Dustin was born March 5, 1975 in Nephi to Fred and Claudia Smith Stilson. Survivors are his parents of Nephi and three brothers and one sister, John, Lonnie, and Jason Stilson, all of Nephi, and Christine Stilson of Orem. Surviving grandparents are Mrs. Alfreds Jolley of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Smith of NephL Pehrson was born Sept. 20, Salt Lake City to Sidney and Florence Lillian Knight Pehrson. He married Lillie Mae Green June 19, 1944 in Wells, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A former resident of Vernon, he served as an MIA president, as a ward clerk, as an assistant Sunday School superintendent, and as a counselor in the Vernon LDS Ward bishopric. He was Sunday School president in the Phoenix 21st LDS Ward in Phoenix, Ari1924 in zona. Survivors are his wife of Mona; sons and daughters, John C. Pehrson Jr., Sandy; Leslie C. Pehrson, Las Vegas, Nevada; Floyd C. Pehrson, Mesa, Arizona; Paul B. Pehrson, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. David (Phyllis) Lovell, Sacramento, California; and Mrs. John (Camille) Andersen, Midvale.
