Show Rams beat Wasps 6749 Friday night JHS News Eyre, Wright win Aux essay contest Lisa Eyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Eyre Sr., was the winner in the senior division of the American Legion Auxiliary essay contest held recently. The winners were anfirst-plac- e nounced at the Au- annual xiliarys Americanism held Febru- Assembly ary 13, at Juab High School. Second place in the senior division awarded was to Layne Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Christensen. First-plac- e honors in the junior division were awarded to Nathan Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn L. Wright. All of the essays were written on the subject How Are We to Preserve and Develop Each winner America. read his essay and was given a check by the American Legion Auxiliary. Also speaking at the assembly was Vaughn L. Terry, a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel who has recently moved to Nephi.
