The symphony will appear at 10:35 a m. in the high school gymnasium. Mangelson of was named the Utah Highway Patrols Trooper of the Levan Year in ceremonies held October 6 in Salt Lake City. The award wras presented by the patrols Colonel Hughes. Trooper Mangelson was one of 12 men competing for the honor, one from each of the patrols districts. Troopers from each district are nominated by their lieutenants. This is the third year Mangleson has been nominated for the award. Trooper Mangelson was born and raised in Levan, a son of Mr. Fourth Ward to hold 'Quad jubilee Saturday The Nephi Fourth LDS Ward will hod its annual Quad Jubilee fund raising activity this Saturday, October 14. The event will begin at 5 p.m. at Ward chapel the Fourth-Fiftwith a variety of games for children and the young at h heart. A sale of homemade handicraft items will begin at 6 p.m. A roast beef dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. A bake sale and a produce sale will be held throughout the evening. As he came back up, he noticed the Marks truck in front of him and tried to avoid hitting it but could not. The Johnson truck hit the left rear comer of the truck driven by Marks. Howard has served for four years as a deputy in the Juab County Sheriff's Department. Howards initial assignment at the Port of Entry station near Wendover, Utah. The new trooper is a graduate of the Utah Police Academy. He also has specialized training in breathalizer operation, dealing with juveniles, and drug law enwill be forcement.
