John and Steven Wells of Van Nuys, California, visited over the Labor Day weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hansen. Mary Tanner, Russell Birchfield to wed Mr. and Mrs. Colvin R. Tanner of Payson announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Mary M. Tanner to Mr. Russell A. Birchfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Ostler of Nephi, and Mr. and Mrs. Earven J. Birchfield of Gulfport, Miss. The couple will be married September 29 in the Manti LDS Temple.
