Ufa Cfub Visits Wholesale News of the Senior Gtizens Company at Recent Meeting On November 8, 52 members of the Senior Citizens enpoyed an afternoon playing Bingo and visiting at the Center. Clever prizes were won and refreshments were served. President Arvilla Kendall gave a preview of planned activities. On Friday, November 10, 77 members A "come as you are party was held Club on November by the Cultur-ette- s Mrs. Dave Lunt was hostess, and 2. took the group to Pexton Wholesale Co. where Jim and Leon Pexton explained the computer and showed the group through the warehouse. After the tour, the members went to Mrs. Lunts home where the members enjoyed "a good laugh at the way all were dressed. Refreshments were served to Beverly Pexton, Connie Kelson, Nadine Chase, Annette Parkin, Vemice Winn, Kena Winn, Diane Kendall, Pat Harmon, Kathryn Anderson, Dorothy Sperry, Carolyn Jones and Shirley Lunt 3g 8$)c enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner at the dinElementary School. The survey Is being taken to determine which classes should be offered in the Community School this year and to find out where instructors for many new classes can be located. Thursday morning the survey crew will be In Levan. On Thursday late afternoon and early evening the survey will be taken In Nephi for any remaining homes to be contacted Friday morning. On Monday, November 20, Mona residents will be given an opportunity to state their preference for classes as the survey moves to that community. Anyone who has not been contacted by November 23 should call at the high school office ond pick up a survey sheet It is the desire of Richard Fairbanks, director of the Community part-tim- e School to reach every home hi Levan, Nephi and Mona. If results of the survey indicate that clases are needed in Levan and Mona, thes classs will be scheduled In addition to those to be taught at the Juab High School on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
