Cowan, became the bride of Alex Dan Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan O. Johnson, in impressive rites at the Fine Arts Center on June 23. The cercmonv wns performed in the presence of relatives and friends bv Dr. J. Joel Moss. Later that evening the young couple was honored at a reception given bv the brides parents at the Fine Arts Center. The bride was lovely in her pow made of chantily lace. The cinderell waist line accented the full skirt of French scalloped lace in tiers, which ch'n gracefully swept back into train. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion was caught to a beaded Camelot cap. She carried a bouquet of white pomes anpink gladiolus. Duties of maid of honor were shared by Carol Ludlow and Chris were Susan Cowan, sister in law of the bride, Annette Lovell and Susa Jones, sisters of the groom. They wore floor length gowns pink meermist with an overskirt floral chiffon. They carried nosegays of white mums centered with pink rose buds. Mothers of the bride and groom chose street length dresses of hot pink poly Their corsages were of ester crepe. white mums and pink gladiolus. Performing duties of best man was Mike Park. Seated at the guest book was Cindy Foote. Ushers were brothers in law of the young couple: Glen Cowan, Gordon Lovell, and Mont Jones. Acting as hostesses for the refreshments were Suzanne Shaw and Becky n Park. Serving were Peggy Jackson, Worwood and Deborah Winn. Assisting at the gift table was Ginger White and Mekalene Carter. Parents of the groom entertained at a dinner on Thursday, June 22 at Mickel-so- n Cafe for the bridal party and members of the immediate families. After a short honeymoon the couple will make their home in Nephi. Miss Gail Belliston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Belliston exchanged vows with Karl Kay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kay, in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints on June 23. They were honored at the Juab Stake House that evening at a reception. d The bride wore a white dress trimmed with white pearls at the bodice and sleeves. She wore a floor-lengt-h veil with a white satin pillar cap trimmed with pearls. Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bjarnson of Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Worwood of Brigham City, and Mrs. Frank Rutherford of Grass Valley, CalifMrs. Ricky ornia greeted the guests. Wright was seated at the register. Ushers were Arden Hill, Terry and Kenneth Kay. The bridal party was standing in front of an orchid heart trimmed with yellow flowers and two candelbras. The mothers were dressed in long orchid dresses trimmed with white lace. The best man and groom wore white ruffled shirts. jackets with orchid-colore- d of honor was Terri Shepherd. , The maid orBrides attendants wore long chid and yellow dresses with short full sleeves. Their hats were of matching colors with wide brims. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride and groom: Janet Hill, Kim Belliston, Ruth Ann Hill, Kyle Belliston and Sandra Kay. Sue Kay, Gordon Kay and Annette Bjarnson carried the gifts. The brides aunts were at the gift table. Rex Hill, become the bride of E. Richard Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, in impressive rites at the Juab Stake House on Saturday, June 24. The ceremony was performed in the presence of relatives and friends by Bishop Clarence W. Anderson, uncle of the groom. The bride wore her mothers wedding gown of ivory slipper satin. The bridal bouquet was made of an orchid and pink rose buds. Mothers of the bride and groom wore dresses of pink purple and wore corsages of pink rose buds. Gayle Ann Hill, sister of the bride, stood as maid of honor. Paula Anderson, Judy Wankier, Deltha Gowers and Marge Painter were attendants to the bride. They wore floor-lengt- h gowns of blue with gold trim and carried a single long stem pink rose. Shauna McPherson served as flower girl and Gary Paul Anderson as ring bearer. Chris Madsen served the groom as best man. Gary Anderson, Glen Hill and Paul Beck were ushers. Julie Jacobsen was selected at the guest book. Assisting at the gift table were Ellen Crane, Lois Bailey, Peggy Dalby, Linda Sperry and Victoria Robinson. Special guests were Mrs. Coquella McPherson and Mrs. Flora Bush, grandmothers of De-An- Nephi Area News Bishop and Mrs. Willard H. Whipple and children of ElPaso, Texas visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy H. Irons one day last week.
