Mrs. Howard is a granddaughter of Mrs. Stanley. They have been living at Orem but now are moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kerr and baby of Salt Lake City visited on Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. LaMonte J. Dansie and family. Mrs. Ray Newton had as her guests Saturday evening and Sunday, her sons: Karl Newton of Salt Lake City and Paul Newton and son Ray of Kearns. Miss Foote reports that she recently received several copies of the Farmers Tax Guide, the Federal Income Tax Guide for Individuals, and the Tax Guide for Small Businesses. All are published by the U. S. Government. The tax guides may be borrowed from the Nephi City Public Library. The Library is open from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each Day a Bonus was written by Louise Lake, and is a story of a lady stricken with polio, and who spent 25 years in a wheelchair. According to the review given by Mrs. Belliston, Mrs. Lake won the love of all who knew her and each felt a little more appreciative of their own life be- cause of association with her. Mrs. Belliston pointed out that the lady learned to live each day, one day at a time, and to make the most of each situation. She taught herself to be self sufficient and went on to teach thousands of other handicapped Mrs. Lake received national persons. recognition as the outstanding handicap- ped person of the year.
