Young, son of Mr. and Mrs, John Young of Crescent City, California, The new Mrs, Young is a special assistant for the Pacific Telephone Company. Mr. Young is an accountant for the California Water Supply, Following a November 27 wedding, the couple returned to Northern Following Temple Marriage The Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints was the scene for the wedding ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Mary Jane Newell and Blair Nolan Warner, on SatParents of the urday, December 18. couple are Mr. and Mrs. M. Clark Newell of Mona, and Mr.c and Mrs. James A. (Jay) Warner of Nephi. Following the ceremony the bride and groom were honored at a dinner at Mickelsons Cafe, given by the grooms parents. i The couple was further honored that evening at a reception at the Mona Ward Cultural hall. The area was decorated in pink and red, with the backdrop of red velvet and white, with poinsetta bouquets. The bride wore a gown of her own design made of bridal satin, covered with nylon organza. The bodice and skirt were hand appliqued with lace and beads. S he wore a floor length veil with shoulder tiers flowing from a beaded crown. Her circular bouquet was of pink roses and red carnations with love knot streamers. The color scheme was followed in Mr. and Mr,. Blair N. Warner (Mary Jane Newell) the attendants dresses, with the Maid of Honor, Paula Newell, and the matron of honor, Saundra Lawrence, both sisters of the bride, dressed in floor-lengt-h red dresses of serano. Braidesmaids, Teresa Jacobsen, Valeen Keyte and Peggy Greenhalgh, wore similar dresses in The junior bridesmaid, Allyn pink. Newell, a sister of the bride, wore a red dress trimmed in pink. Each attendant wore white gloves and carried nosegay of giant mums and roses with streamers. Mothers of the couple were dressed in pink knit. Mr. and Mrs. Max Bramall and family of Salt Lake City were recent visitors at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ora Nielsen. On Sunday morning a family breakfast was held at the Nielsen home. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Gee and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Topham and family of Santaquin, Mr. and Mrs. Kip Ballow and children, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bramall and family, and Lynn L. Carter of Nephi. ANNOUNCING TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS OF THE LEVAN AREA: Santa wont be able to come to my home this year as he has for many years past, because he has lot one of his dearest helpers, and he has too many places to go and wont have time. FARRELL WANKIER One of the focal points of the reception was the beautifully decorated wedding cake, done in white, with a top of satin wedding bells. Sisters of the groom, Mrs. Rebecca Vaughan, and Mrs. Arma Dawn Kay were hostesses and presided at the punch Pamela Lawrence, Mary Ellen bowl. Descendants of George Wilkey Enjoy Party At Senior Citizen Center Saturday evening was the Christmas social for the family of the late George and Georgina Wilkey. The evening was spent with a pot luck dinner, followed by games for the adults and a show for the children. Santa Claus visited the children, also. Sherwood have again this year contributed to the Mt Nebo Training Center in lieu of sending Christmas cards to relatives and friends in the Nephi area.
