Dale Jackson, a Juab High senior next year, was selected to lead the Rodeo Club during 1971-7Dale is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jackson of Nephi. Other officers selected were Scott Tolley, vice president; Kim Andreason, treasurer; Carla Worwood, secretary and Justin Winn, reporter. Mrs. Thela Wankier, Mr. Clarence Pay and Mr. Charles Williams have served the school for many years and have given their time and talents to the betterment of the school. The Clarion staff wishes to convey their appreciation for their hard work and devotion to the students of Juab. well-know- Mrs. Thela Wankier has taught 32 years in the Juab District and 18 of those were spent teaching the students of Juab High. When she first be gan teaching, she worked in the English and Speech Department but for the past five years she has helped many students in the guidance department. This summer, Mrs. Wankier is planning a trip to the east and west coasts. When she returns, she is hoping to write a book about her many experiences at Juab High School. He was principal at Levan for five years. He came back to Nephi and acted as counselor for four years and principal seven years.
