These were girls who achieved their individual awards for this year by August 1. They were honored by the Stake YWMIA with a trip to Timpan-ogo- s Cave on Monday, August site to another site in Salt Creek Canyon was discussed. The Cottonwood campground was proposed to the group, but the leaders did not feel this site would be adequate. It also was suggested that any other site which the group felt could be used would be available. After looking at the Maple Canyon site three different times with Council and Teen Council this site was decided upon. A1 ternate sites checked in Salt Creek Canyon were Cottonwood Campground, Red Creek flat, Ponderosa and Pole Canyon. At Maple Canyon the group had an enjoyable stay and en joyed hiking, other activities, and in particular picking wild raspberries which are abundant in Maple Canyon. Extension Agent Lynn Esplin asked a few how they enjoyed of the the campground and all agreed it was great, as well as being different. NOW j ENTIRE FAMILY BACK TO SCHOOL DRESSES Priced from 4.00 up. The formations were interesting and beautiful; the Heart of Timpanogos was especially impressive. Following the visit to the Cave, all gathered at a nearby picnic area where a delicious supper was served to the hungry, thirsty hikers. Fun songs' and an impromptu program completed the day.
