The purpose in simulating an office is to get the potential office workers acquainted with working in an office. Students are part of a real office-o- nly the outstide environment is simulated. One could actually conduct business for a mortgage loan company within the classroom. The only time one becomes anything other than an office worker is when he or she becomes the administrative assistant then in the outside work. The Moe, Inc. simulation was copied from an actual mortgage Utah Mortgage loan office Loan Corporation of Logan. A simulation team studied the actual work at the Logan office and then created the scripts, tapes, etc. being used. An "open house" will be held Tuesday May 12 between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in thet Vocational Business room to give all an apportunity to see Moe, Inc. in operation.
