Roscoe Garrett of Nephi, and Leon C, Winter, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar C. Winter of Levan, were united in marriage on Saturday, March 29, 1969, In an impressive ceremony performed by President Ruel E. Christensen at the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Saints. Following the ceremony the Latter-da- y young couple were honored at a dinner given by the parents of the groom at Rays Cafe In Nephi. The new Mr. and Mrs. Winter were further honored at a reception given by the brides father at the Juab Stake Cultural hall the same evening. The bride was beautiful in a traditional white lace wedding gown. Her veil was shoulder length, and was held by a rose She carried a bouquet of artis tically arranged yellow orch ids. Matron of honor duties were performed by a sister of the bride, Mrs. Judy Higginson Bridesmaids were Paula Garrett, sister of the bride, Judy Bosh and Carol Pexton, sisters of the groom, and Carol Linda BOBBIE BROOKS - GAY GIBSON of the Tracy, a bride.
