Contact: RAY'S LANES Be ready to bowl or Leauge Officers SEPTEMBER 16 Women's Annual Meeting, September 9 Ray's Cafe p.m. - -- November will be held In Box Elder, Cache, Daggett, Davis, Duchesne, Morgan, Rich, Summit, Uintah, Washington, and Weber Counties. A season of November 4 has been set for state and federal lands which will provide even more opportunity for the dedicated pheasant hunter. Shooting will start at 8 a.m. the opening day with the balance of the seasons shooting time set at daylight hours. Bag and possession limits this year is three and six, respectively, with roosters being the only legal targets. Several persons appeared before the Fish and Game board when the season was set and the hunt as established was a compromise of the recommendations received by the Board this year. The biological data submitted from Division of Fish and Game field personnel Indicated that populations are at a good level and biologically pheasants can sustain a much longer season. In fact a number of persons, including some landowners, have Indicated a desire for a longer season than la established. Hunters, primarily during this pheasant season, must plan their hunting to Insure that the relationship between sportsmen and landowners remain favorable and endeavor to improve these relationships whenever possible both during the season and at other times of the year. will have Scattergunners about the same season for 1968 as they did last year In which to pursue the rlnkneck, as the Fish and Game Board In a recent meeting , established this years season length of from five to 23 days. Sixteen day hunts, from Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Pexton were host and hostess at a delicious dinner on August 24 for the Immediate family and close friends of Richard Pexton and Carol Winter. The dinner was held at Rays Cafe. The room was decorated with salmon cot ored gjadioias and green ribbons. The table was beautiful ly arranged and decorated with white flowers, green ribbons, and white wedding bells. Following the dinner, a birthday cake was placed In front of Annette Pexton, and the group sang Happy Birthday" to her.
