When the Fountain Green Lamb Day was begun, we dont exactly know, but we do remember that years and years ago, the celebration gathered residents of the entire central Utah together for the various events. We were amazed at the number of lambs which went into the pit . . and how they were prepared . . the huge amount of seasoning used . . and how the barbeque pit was sealed for so many hours. We recall, too, watching the lamb sandwiches literally thousands of them being prepared by the committee and served to the long lines!
