S. Highway 91 .3 of a mile north of the Sevier River bridge has claimed the life of a San Diego lady. The death of Mrs. Walter Emmert on Tuesday morning at a Salt Lake Hospital was the first traffic fatality of the rent year In Juab County. cur- According to Highway Pat rol officers who Investigated, the station wagon driven by Mrs. Emmert went out of con trol and rolled over twice, crit ically injuring Ms. Emmert and seriously Injuring her husband, Walter Emmert, their three sons, mother of Mr. Emmera and Mrs. Willie Scott. Following her arrival at the Juab County Hospital and init ial determination of Injuries, Mrs. Emmert was transferred to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, and she died Tuesday morning of serious brain injury. Mr. Emmert and three sons were scheduled to leave by plane Thursday morning, and Mrs, May Emmert and Mrs. Scott will remain at the Juab County Hospital for further treatment before being released to return home to San Diego. (Arvilla) Bradshaw of Orem. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; and three sisters: Nellie Jennings of Tooele; Minnie Jackman of Salt Lake City, and Jennie Hobbs of Provo. The dinner will be served, beginning at 6:15 p.m., and the program will begin at approximately 8 p.m. The affair has been held for the past several years in commemoration of the anniversary of the first settlers arrival in the Juab Valley. It is held on the Saturday nearest to September 21. Members will come to the elementary school at 4:15 p.m. for a practice session and judging. Clothing will be there ready to be modeled. Style Dress Revue. This will be at 7:30 p.m. in the elementary school auditorium for members, leaders, parents, and friends. The Style Dress Revue will be divided into two sections, the Junior division and the Senior division. The senior part of the dress revue will include all girl. 14 years of age or older by January 1, 1966, and in their third year of clothing or over. Following the dress revue a tea will be held.
