I iuu of Kepn-aentativ- Services Held for Grandson of Nephi Lady Relatives and friends from Nephi were in attendance Tuesday at funeral services at Bountiful for Jeald E. Pitt, 33, grandson of Mis. Brigham Garrett of Nephi, and son of Mrs Blanche Garrett Pitt of Bountiful and Ihe late Stanley Pitt. Mr. iPtt died at a Salt Lake Hospital Friday of pneumonia. He was bom at Nephi Aug. 14. 1932 and married Carolyn Moon June 20, 1952 at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was owner of a clothing store at Bountiful and was president of the AsBusinessmens Bountiful sociation. Survivors include his widow, a so nand two daughters, all of Bountiful; his mother and a brother, both of Bountiful; and two grandmothers: Mrs. Garrett of Nephi and Mrs. Nellie IV. Pitt of ElCerrito, California. 25. e 4-- n, e Services Set For Mother Of Levan Lady Mrs. FanFountain Green nie Mae Draper Peterson, 79, died Tuesday, June 28 in the Juab County Hospital at Nephi following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p m. at the Fountain Green Ward chapel. Friends may call at the family home in Fountain Green Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday prior to the services. Mrs. Peterson was bom at Fountain Green December 18, 1886, a daughter of Edward and Mary E. Coombs Draper. She was married to Henrv M Pet eison July 26, 1907 at Salt Lake City, and the marriage later was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mrs. Peterson was active throughout her life in the LDS Church, serving as a Primary teacher and Relief Society class leader. Survivors are her husband of Fountain Green; two daughters and a son: Mrs. Ralph (Bessie) Jackman of Levan: Mrs. Roger (Ethyl) Jensen of Salt Lake City; and Edward (Ned) Peterson of Fountain Green. Also surviving are a sister and two brothers: Mrs. George C. Johnson of Midvale; Everette C. Draper of Salt Lake City and Aury H. Draper of Fountain Green. Young Man Injured in Cycle, Car Accident Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Olsen of Nephi have received word of the serious injury of their grandson, Raymond Olsen, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Olsen of Magna. The young man wos seriously injured Saturday in a motorcycle and car collision at 8177 West 3500 South in Magna. This is because the hospital has not met the requirements for the formation and organization of a functioning medical and utilization .staff, review committee of the medical staff which is required to leview all medical cases. The government has established standards for the participation of hospitals in the Medical e program, and the State Department of Public Health Is tesponsible to survey all of the hospitals in the state and determine if they meet these standards. Many hospitals in the state are unable to meet the requirements at this time, but the Juab County Hospital can be certified as soon as the medical staff and the review committee have been organizs, ed. The Hospital Board and the Administration of the hospital have been woiking on the prob- lem and meetings will be held in the near future to arrange for the organization of the medical staff and the review committee In the meantime, we regret the unavoidable delay in commencement of the Medicare program in our hospital and assure the public that arrangements will be made to admit Medicare patients to the hospital at the earliest possible moment. Juab County Hospital Board Miss Judy Jackson Miss Jackson Tells Plans for August Marriage to Mr. Wright Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Jack-so- n announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Judy, to Morris L. Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Dee Wright. The couple plans an August 19 wedding with a reception the same evening at the Juab Stake House. Both are graduates of Juab High School and Juab Stake Seminary, and have attended Snow College the past year. Miss Jackson is employed by H. K. Porter Company, and Mr. Wright will continue his studies at Snow College this fall. They plan to make their home in Nephi. The marriage took place at Ely on June 22, at the home of the bndes parents. The young couple will make their home in Ely where the new Mrs. Jenkins is employed at the Medical Center and Mr. Jenkins Is employed at Kenneoott Copper Company. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jenkins, Roy Jenkins and Laura Jenkins were in Ely for the wedding. Miss Brough also served as the representative from Levan to the Utah Girls State during 1965. She graduated from the Juab Stake Seminary fourth year program. Mr. Shepherd also is a graduate of Juab High School. He was active in sports and served as captain of the basketball team, and received the H. K. Porter basketball award and the G eenhal ?h Athletic award.
