This is part of the group which did their bit" on the club project on Wednesday morning of last week. The stands are being put In shae for the big annual show which will be held this year on July 14, IS and 16. In addition to the paint project, nuiny other Improvements are going forward at the arena. Lady Lions Hear Fine Legislative Report at Recently Held Meeting A most informative and in- teresting evening was spent on Thursday by the Nephi Lady Lions Club at their regular meeting held at Mickelsons. Mrs. Neldon Hanson, Mrs. Ru-lo- n Broadhead and Mrs. Merle White were hostesses. A beautiful arrangement of roses decorated the table. Claude R. Lomax, Juab County Representative to the State Legislature, was speaker for the evening. He told of the bills that would be on the ballot this fall for voters to consider. He also explained about the Little Hoover recommendations and what effect they will have on the government of Utah. In 1924 he became Sevier County Agent and in 1936 was transferred to Utah County where he served until his retirement in 1956. Social News Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Sherwood returned home Sunday evening from a weeks trip to Lethbridge and Tabor, Alberta, Canada, where they visited with relatives of Mrs. Sherwood.
