The Fort Wall Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Friday February 11 at the home of Lua L. Stephenson. Following prayer by Celia S. Briggs and the opening song, Captain Geneva R. Worthington gave of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers convention to be held on April 9 at Hotel Utah Mrs. Worthington also told of the purchase of five history books by the camp. A history of Samuel R. Winn was given by his daughter, Hazel W. Carter. A granddaughter of Mr. Winn 3 showed a fur hood made 84 years ago from the pelt of a pet white rabbit, by Mrs. Samuel R. Winn. Short autobiographies of pioneers were given by Elizabeth R. Black. The early Nephi pioneers In histories were: Harrison Sperry, William Sperry, Daniel Miller, Isreal Hoyt, Joel Grover, William Paxman and Geo. Teasdale. Also included was an account of Charles Sperrys 60th wedding anniversary in 1894. Two poems written by James R. Black for that occasion were also read by Mrs. Black. Seventeen members present included hostesses Beatrice and Winn, Lua Stephenson Goldie Howarth; and Geneva Worthigton, Mary Scott, Olive Broadhead, Zella Cazier, Zelma Golden, Amy Warner, Elizabeth Black, Pearl Belliston, Kate Ingram, Hazel Carter, Stella Olpin, Celia Briggs, Ida Belliston, Joey Olpin, Clara Pace.
