ENTER PROS Season Opening Nears With the October 10 opening of Utahs 1964 waterfowl season a little less than two weeks in the future, department of fish and game biologists today indicated that waterfowl populations on the states marshes still remain high. Pending an adverse change in the weather during the next two weeks, they advised, gunners can look forward to a good early season gunning po- or tential. Marshlands are generally in good shape to hold the present high population of ducks and Canyon-Emigratio- geese. The largest numbers of ducks at Utah marshlands are Pintail, Teal and Mallard with lesser numbers of Gadwall, Wigeon and Shoveler. But nature brilliant and usually presents a colorful landscape in most areas of theastate and between give or take few days. The fun is in discovering for yourself the most delightful area of all.
