Well, the folks turn out a mighty tasty meal and, as not ed Wednesday evening, their lines" are growing each year. Were pleased to have noted an increasing number from Nephi supporting the supper, 'cause Levan folks certainly do support things in Nephi. Heber Taylor, who heads the Levan Elders Quorum was attired in a nice apron Wednesday night . . one of those v'hich cover sufficiently to give protection, and brightly colored so it can be seen. Heber was taking a little kidding on the apron, and, naturally, was enjoying it all. It was nice, too, to see Bishop J. Clair Collard among the crowd, coming along well after his recent accident. From all I know" Bishop Collard said, the leg is coming along fine". Its doing so well, in fact, that he firmly believed he could outrun me . . and this was before dinner, too! LeGrande Mangelson, anoth- er stunch supporter of Levan events, was just a little tardy getting to the affair, and by the time he had his plate heaped high with spuds, mutton, sliced tomatoes, bread and butter, etc., he had a hard time finding a t. Mr. Gadd made the trip to Chicago and return via Jet. Problems facing the future of agriculture in the United States and problems common to the cooperatives throughout the country were discussed in the various meetings of the convention. The organization is made up of the majority of cooperatives of the United States.
