Mix well. Add garlic to butter or margarine; cream. Remove garlic pieces; add to combination. Cut ends from Italian bread and cut loaf into Vi to 34 inch thick slices, cutting every other slice just to, but not through, the bottom crust. Spread inside surfaces of each sandwich with garlic butter and cheese mitxure. Place 4 wiener pieces spoke fashion from each sandwich keeping ends exposed. Line up sandwiches back in loaf fashion on a double thickness of heavy aluminum foil; wrap securely. Heat in hot oven, 400 degrees, until cheese melts and franks heat, 25 to 30 minutes.
