NEWS Juab Faculty Member Gains Science Grant Several Attend State F. F. A. In ! Convention Barry Avery, a memljor of the Juab High School faculty, recently received a grant from the National Science Foundation to attend the University of Utah for a nine months course for additional study for high school mathematics and Mr. Avery science teachers. lias accepted this grant. He will be granted a leave of absence from the school next year and return the following year. The Foundation will pay expanses, tuition, fees, etc. Mr. Avery also is going to the University of Washington, in Seattle, this summer on a scholarship grant. He will have 12 good hard months of school. Good luck in keeping up those grades, Mr. Avery. Salt Lake City The Mt. Nebo Chapter of the Future Farmers of Amer ic attended the 35th state convention in Salt Lake City on March 22 and 23.
