NEWS 125 Wrestlers Councils Region Enjoy ' It's going to be rough and tough going this Friday and Saturday as local fans get their first glimpse at a State High School Wrestling tournament. On Friday at 1 p.m. the wrestlers will start the first to see who will qualify for the state champion matches Saturday. Each champion will have to win four matches in the two day meet FriThere will be day at 1 p.m., and 7 p.m., and Saturday at 1 p.m., with the championship matches set for Saturday night at 7 p.m. Each competitor has won berth in the State Tournament by winning first or second place in region tournaments around the state. Many fans from all over the state will be attracted to this event in Nephi this week. Fast matches are expected in every go round. Juab FFA Members to Compete in Region Meet at Spanish Fork Procedure Parliamentary ( ' : Mr. ' Mr. and Mrs. Richard Howell of Kearns spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. Norma Kay. The Sanpete - Juab Associa tion of Student Councils met at the Juab High School on Wednesday, February 13. Councils of schools from all over Region IX were invit cd. This group is working actively for the establishment of a state association. Leadership potentials are developed and exchanging by meeting ideas. The meeting was presided over by Juab Student Body President Steven Ostler. Lunch was served to the group. Ways of helping to establish a state association were the main topics of discussion. Utah is the only state in the nation without a state association of student councils at the high school level. Fans who are interested in obtaining the season ticket should contact the Principal as soon as possible as all tickets that are not sold will be returned on Monday, February 25. The cost of the season ticket is $6.00, which represents a saving of $2.00 over the cost of individual tickets. Juab High still has a chance of being in the tournament, depending upon the outcome of the Wasatch Academy game at Nephi on Wednesday, and the game with Manti on Friday night. The tournament will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, with sessions at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and the final sessions at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 2.
