The first meeting of the new group was held on Octolier 17 at the home of Carlene Malmgren, with Joyce Bowles assist-,n- g her. At this meeting the group decided what would be the program for meetings to tollow, and assignments were given for members to be hostesses at the gatherings. Officers elected at the initial meeting included: Joyce Bowles. president; Carlene Malm-pievice president; Peggy Wankier. secretary; Jana Hudson. treasurer; Nan Day, reporter. Bingo and refreshments were diversions of the evening.
