Show Nephi, Juab County, Utah, Thursday, November 24, I960 Single Copy 10c By Soy E. Gibson Editor Out of the Mail Bag We see where the Census Bureau representatives will be knocking on doors again in the near future . . this time taking a Sample Survey of Agriculture. Theyre going to ask question on farm equipment, farm income, construction of new farm buildings, farm contracts and farm operator debts. With conditions of drougth having existed in many areas of Utah for a couple of years now, some farmers can answer all their questions with only one word none! reg The men who get up early in the morning to "juice the (or is it Holsteins) Jerseys are taking time off this week end to attend the annual confab of the American Dairy Association of Utah in Salt Lake City. It would be interesting to note what percentage of them drink milk for the meal beverage while they are in session? Its like the beef producers they are reported (and from what kind of authority, we dont know) to have had a turkey dinner and breaded pork chops on their luncheon menu during one convention recently. reg Its getting the time of the year when the weatherman is apt to get rid of anything he has in stock inventory clearance, so to speak! reg Training Meets LIONS MINSTREL Set by Juab Residents of East Juab County are invited by the Nephi Lions Club to attend the Burnt Scout Officials at the Juab High School USE CHRISTMAS NEXT WEDNESDAY SEALS Cork Follies which will be held A three night series of training courses have been set up to help you who in some way are working with the Boy Scout Program obtain a better understanding of the funda mentals of the Boy Scout movement.
