Bids are to be opened at 10 a m. on Thursday, October 15, according to the notice. The present County building at Mona is located south and west of the school building, and the call for bids specifies property north of the school building, or school site. County Attorney James P. McCune explained this week that an exchange of property between the two units of government is being made for the benefit of each. The school playground area will be extended to the south W'est, and this is considered as a desirable move because of the greater d stance from U. S. Highway 91. Likewise, the court house and fire department building location will lie much better at the highway, or near highway, location. The building which has been known as the court house at Mona has had very little usage over the past several years. Juab County has fire fighting equipment located at Mona for the past several years, and it was been housed in a private garage.
