Ostler Impressive funeral services were Monday at the Nephi d Ward chapel for Joseph Edward Ostler, 81, who died last Thursday at the Juab County Hospital of cause's incident First-Secon- to his advanced age. Bishop Ray W. Worthington of the First Ward conducted the services. Mr. Ostler, a well known live stock man of Nephi and Central Utah, was born July 2, 1877, at Salt Lake City, a son of John C and Mary Ann Prince Ostler. He married Mamie Bigler of Nephi June 10, 1903, at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. .Ostler was a farmer and stock raiser during the majority of his adult life, being interested primarily in the sheep raising in dustry. lie also was an officer of the Nephi National Bank during several years. He was a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Nephi and served several terms as a Nephi City Councilman. Surviving are his widow, of Ne phi; three daughters: Mrs. Faye Hansen of Logan; Mrs. Elda Roberts, Juneau, Alaska, Mrs. Marjoe-lai- n Mitchell, Denver; three sons Rex Ostler, Indianapolis, Indiana David Eugene, Salt Lake City and Joe Ostler of Caldwell, Idaho. Nine grandchildren and one great grand child also survive. He married Priscilla Wilson May 3, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors are his widow and two sons: Dee J. and LaMar H. Nielson, Nephi; and three sisters; Mrs. Dora Chase and Mrs. Iona Boswell, Nephi and Mrs. Daisey Nielsen of Salmon, Idaho.
