Three hungry youths decided Wednesday the only way to satisfy their desire for food was to eat, they told Judge James A. Stump In police court ' George Turpin was confirmed as Judge lor the forty-firannual Utah Poultry association show, to be held in Salt Lake. January 20 to 25, Inclusive, at a meeting of the organization Thursday night at the city and county building. Mr. Turpin formerly was connected with the Utah State Agricultural college at Logan and la a graduate of the Iowa Agricultural college at Ames. He is recognized as a competent poultry Judge by the American Poultry association. This is the first time in a number of years, however, that the association has selected local man as Judge at the show. Cuds and cash will h uniH. ed. Waterfowl and turkeys will be Included In the show, as well as other types of birds. There also will be special prizes for the bantam division, as well as for the larger birds. Premium blanks now are being mailed to members and nonmembers of the organization. Exhibits at the show are expected from all of the Intermount&ln states and from a number of eastern states.
